Itinerary

Day 01| Srinagar Arrival

You will be met by our representative at the Srinagar airport. He will assist and transfer you to the hotel/deluxe houseboat. Late afternoon you take a shikara ride on Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens. While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc. Dinner and Overnight in hotel/ deluxe houseboats.

Day 02 | Srinagar Sightseeing

Morning sightseeing of the Mughal Gardens, visiting Nishat Bagh built by Asaf Khan, the brother -in- law of Jehangir in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh built by Jehangir for his wife empress Nur Jahan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of the Dal Lake with the Zabarwan hills in the background. Afternoon will be at your leisure for individual activities. Overnight in hotel/deluxe houseboat.

Day 03 | Srinagar | Baltal

Checkout from Hotel or Houseboat and proceed to Baltal via Sonamarg. The distance of about 115 kms will be covered in about 3½ hrs. Rest of the day free at Baltal for acclimatization and prepare for next day's trek to Amarnath Cave.Dinner overnight stay at Baltal.

Day 04 | Amarnath Darshan

After early breakfast Baltal lever for day long trek upwards to Amarnath Cave for darshan. The route is ascending right up to the cave. Have a dip in the ice-cold water of Amarnath Stream, which flows, outside the cave. Inside the cave there is scenery of calm tranquility of white and glistering three massive Lingmas stand erect symbol of Lord Shiva, Parvathi and Ganesh.

Day 05 | Baltal | Srinagar

Day 5 leave Baltal and proceed back to Srinagar Check in at Hotel/ Houseboat refresh and be at leasure, enjoy the romantic evenings of Srinagar at Dal Lake.

Day 06 | Srinagar |Gulmarg | Srinagar

Morning leave for Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 mts. above the sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hours. Gulmarg has one of the best ski slopes in the world and highest golf course with 18 holes. If weather permits one can also have the view of Nanga Parbat, the naked mountain that is over 26,000 feet’s and dominates the entire region, also enjoy cable car (Gondola) for mountain ride up to khilangmarg.Overnight stay at Hotel or Houseboat.

Day 07 | Srinagar | Patnitop | Katra

Checkout from Srinagar and proceed to Patnitop, There is no denial to the fact that Patnitop is the ideal place to have a pleasant walk in the verdant woods and hear the winds soughing through cedar woods. Heaven for trekkers, there are paths for long as well as short trek to the nearby mountains. If you are an ace trekker go to Kud or Batote otherwise you can have a shot trek to Shiv Garh that is 11 km away and Madha Top, the ridge opposite to Patnitop . Sansar also known as Mini Gulmarg is a grassy meadow fringed by fir trees and offer the adventurous Aerosports. The 9 hole golf course adds charm to this place. Evening leave for Katra overnight stay at Katra.

Day 08 | Katra | Vaishno Devi | Katra

Early in Morning leave for Mata Vaishno Devi darshan Located at an altitude of 5200 feet above sea level and at a distance of approximately 14 kilometres from Katra. After Darshan treck back to Katra overnight stay at Katra.

Day 09 |Katra | Shiv Khori | Jammu Drop

Checkout form the hotel at Katra and proceed to Shiv Khori, Shiv Khori is situated in between the hillocks about 140 km north of Jammu, 120 km from Udhampur and 80 km from Katra. Buses and light vehicles go up to Ransoo, the base camp of pilgrimage. People have to traverse about 3 km on foot on a track recently constructed by the Shiv Khori Shrine Board. After Darshan at Svi Khori Proceed with the memories of a life time to Jammu for onward flight or train. Happy Journey
